Optimizing Your YouTube Channel
And now...today's key tips! Here you have some ideas on how you can personalize your YouTube channel, while also branding your videos. This will make it easier for your target audience to identify who is behind that product!
#1: Logo and background image
Your logo becomes your ID photo on Google and YouTube. Make sure it looks good in any size (we recommend that you include your corporate logo). It should be 90x90.. Regarding the background image, choose a pic that has at least 2560x1440 pixels. This image will help you transmit a specific message, a call to action or just the essence of your brand. Remember that branding is also a key element to trigger engagement!
#2: Title and channel description
The title of your channel and the description must be 100% representative of who you are / what you do. Make the description clear and simple enough (but also compelling!) so as to let your audience know what they'll find in your channel. Also, include the links to your social networks and website and don't forget about the keywords related to your niche.
Playlists enable you to group videos of the same topics. You can make use of playlists to help visitors find the content they're looking for and consequently boost engagement.
You can also include a trailer video to explain to your visitors what you offer. Make it brief and attractive! It will certainly help you grab the visitor's attention and even promote a specific feature of your product.

#5: Keywords and meta tags
Choose keywords and long tail phrases that represent what your audience is likely to search on YouTube and Google. Then use them for the titles and the descriptions. Also, optimize the meta tags, and choose the ones that represent the spirit of your video. You can use between 10 and 20 tags for each video (between words and phrases).
#6: Titles and descriptions of your videos
In the title, try to include the most important keywords for which you want your video to be ranked for. Keep it descriptive, brief and succinct. The description also needs to have the keywords you want to rank for (you can use 200, 250 words or even more. Make it concise and compelling). But one key piece of advice: make sure you include the key information about your video in the first two sentences of the description.
Picking out the right thumbnail can make a huge difference in attracting viewers or dissuading them to click on the Play button! Choose a colorful, attractive and captivating image that perfectly represents the content of your video, and use it in a high res (at least 640x360).
